My areas of expertise include:

  • Pain management - back, knee and shoulder pain as well as plantar fasciitis

  • Migraines

  • Allergies

  • Sinusitis

  • Hormone imbalance

  • Digestive issues

  • Stress and anxiety

  • Sleep problems and low energy

In addition to using various styles of acupuncture, I offer other treatments such as:

  • Cupping

  • Gua sha

  • Moxibustion

  • Facial rejuvenation

  • Herbal foot soaks

  • Steaming therapy

As an acupuncturist, I am still amazed at the effects of treatments on some of my patients. From period pains reduced, sinusitis and congestion vastly improved, musculoskeletal issues corrected, eczema and hives gone, no more PMT, night sweats and hot flushes disappearing, inflammation and arthritis pain reduced etc.

Of course this isn’t the case for everybody as ultimately it is your body doing the healing and there are other factors at play such as your stress levels, how much you rest and nourish yourself, your diet, lifestyle, how much trauma and emotional issues you have had in life etc. So working with me requires that you are an active participant in your healing and it can take some time depending on the work you put in.

But you will receive guidance on what is happening in your body and what you can do to help so that you can get the best results.  This brings you more control over your body and your health for future years to come.

Being a member of the British Acupuncture Council, means I am constantly updating my knowledge and skills and I adhere to a strict Code of Practice that is approved by the Department of Health and follow professional guidelines.

The BAcC is considered the leading self-regulatory body for the professional practice of traditional acupuncture in the UK. To become a member one must have over 3,000 hours of practice.

I decided to study acupuncture after experiencing its benefits in my long recovery from being in a coma with bacterial meningitis and septicaemia.

It made such a difference to my life in terms of being able to use my arm again (and eventually return to work), my pain management, energy and just overall well-being that I just had to learn it.

Due to developing a histamine intolerance that affected my day-to-day life post Covid and further exacerbated by hormonal changes, I have additionally become very knowledgeable in allergies for which I also use diet, supplements and specific herbal teas.

I truly know what it is like to struggle to deal with fatigue and pain and to crawl my way back to health!

I am very experienced in dealing with pain management, menstrual and hormone issues - including menopausal symptoms - digestive issues, stress and anxiety, sleep problems, low energy, migraines and allergies in my patients.

I also provide acupuncture to prepare the body for giving birth and I am currently taking an advanced fertility diploma to further expand my knowledge into hormone issues and fertility.
